Christians have….One Christ….One Bible….One Religion…
But the Latin Catholic will not enter Syrian
Catholic Church.
These two will not enter Mormon Church.
These three will not enter Pentecost Church.
These four will not enter Salvation Army Church.
These five will no enter Seventh Day Adventist
Church .
These six will not enter Greek Orthodox Church.
These seven will not enter Jacobite church.
None of these will pray at a Russian Orthodox Church.
What a pity! One Christ, One Bible, One Jehova….yet no unity!
Muslims have one Allah, One Quran....!
Yet, is there any unity amongst them?
The Shia will not go to Sunni Mosque.
These two will not go to Ahamadiya Mosque.
These three will not go to Sufi Mosque.
These four will not go to Mujahiddin mosque.
Though 'Muslim', Shia and Sunni hate each other with great vehemence.
Riots and wars between these two sects have killed countless Muslim millions in
their 1400 year history.
There are ethnic and sectarian divides amongst Muslims around the world.
Each of them killing/bombing/conquering/
massacring/... each other!
Is there any unity amongst Muslims? One Allah, One Quran....????
Preaching love, brotherhood, forgiveness, peace and understanding, Christianity
and Islam have worked hard to wipe out local / native religion from countries
they invaded. Their cultural
vandalism is so through, we have no books or remains from most of the religions
and cultures they destroyed. Most converts are so indoctrinated into the
religion of their colonial masters, they don’t even want to remember that their
ancestors worshiped anything other than Christ or Allah.
Christianity and Islam claim their roots back to
Judaism.
Yet both have tried time and again to wipe out Judaism from the face of the
earth.
All three religions worship the same God.
They have the same prophets.
They are inspired by the same scripture – the Old Testament.
Yet, neither of these 3 worship with each other.
Neither of these three believe the other will make it to heaven.
Neither of these three worship their common God – Jehovah – in unity.
Hindus on the other hand have over 1,000 Religious Books,
10,000 Commentaries and more than one 100,000 commentaries written by
gurus of countless sects and creeds.
They have innumerable representations of their God as male, female and
anthromorphic forms.
Tens of thousands of Aacharyas (religious leaders).
Thousands of different sects.
Yet they will visit temples of each other’s
sects.
Hindus celebrate each other’s festivals.
They will pay due respect to each other’s version of the divine.
They are peaceful, tolerant and seek unity with each other by inviting each
other to worship with them.
They are happy for others to worship God in whatever form they like!
A living tradition going back to the dawn of
human history, Hinduism has given birth to Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism. Living in peace with each other,
neither of these 4 have quarreled with one another. They have listened to each other
with great tolerance and have always worked to find the unifying strand of
spiritual thoughts amongst each other.
It amazes me that Hinduism has managed to survive intact under foreign rule
lasting nearly 1000 years.
Despite attacks from Islam and Christianity who have wiped out hundreds of
native religions wherever they ruled, Hinduism has survived! Surviving in
the land of its ancestors is a huge achievement in itself !
